Airport Organizations
The Civil Air Search and Rescue Association has a building on site at the airport. CASARA is a volunteer organization of aviators who promote safe flying practices and assist the Canadian Armed Forces in searches for missing persons, aircraft, and vessels. Members meet monthly for lectures and training sessions.
St. Catharines Flying Club
One of the oldest flying clubs in North America, founded in 1928.

The RAA Niagara (Chapter 4910) meets
at 1930 hours on the second Monday of every month from September through to
June in CASARA building at the Niagara District Airport and at the Welland
Airport in July and August.
