Things to do in Niagara
Welcome to Beautiful Niagara
Niagara District Airport is located in the heart of the Niagara Peninsula, conveniently close to an abundance of world famous attractions including premier golf courses, wineries, theatre and the arts, country inns and hotels, historical sites, casinos, the Welland Canal and of course, the Niagara Falls themselves.
There are festivals held in communities across the peninsula throughout the year celebrating the arts, food, culture, heritage and more. Some notable examples are Niagara-on-the-Lake’s Shaw Festival Theatre and Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights. Check the Niagara Festivals and Events website for listings by month and location
In addition to these local attractions, Niagara District Airport is just over an hour's drive away from the world class shopping, sports and theatre of Toronto, and the major league sports attractions of Buffalo, NY.

Canadian Heritage Warplane Museum
The Canadian Heritage Warplane Museum is located close by at 9280 Airport Road, Mount Hope at the Hamilton International Airport - approximately 60 minutes away if you are driving. The museum is open year-round from 9am to 5pm, closed only on Christmas Day and New Years Day.
The Museum is a living museum featuring the aircraft used by Canadians or Canada's Military from the beginning of World War II up to the present. The collection includes aircraft that really fly and several that remain on static display and are interactive workshops.
